The Process of CD Replication

CD replication, or copying discs to create multiple copies, is an option for businesses that have large numbers of CDs or DVDs that need to be stored safely.

CD replication can help reduce the number of discs needed in a collection, as well as free up space on a storage system. The process of CD replication is simple and can be done by either a computer or a professional replicator.

To start the process of CD replication, you first need to gather your original CDs or DVDs. You will also need the appropriate software and hardware. Depending on the type of replication you are doing, you may also need to gather additional information, such as the location of your master disc.

Once you have all of the necessary items, you can begin the process of copying your discs. To start, insert your original disc into your computer’s optical drive. If you are using a professional replicator, make sure to load the appropriate software onto your computer.

Next, use the software to determine which disc should be used as your master. This disc will serve as the base for all of the copies that are made. Once you have chosen your master disc, start copying files from your original discs to it.
